Hailed as the “Master of Abstract“, producer and DJ Nicolas Chaix aka I:Cube has played a major role in the french electronic scene over the past ten years. From early on I:Cube created his own universe. He grew up without TV but instead tuned into alternative parisien radio stations and heightened his curiosity with sound clips from “laboratoire radiophonique“ from France Culture. By adding frequent borrowings from the local disco and attendance to early free parties I:Cube obtained a melting pot of influences, which he has fused into a rich and iconoclastic musical culture. In 2006 I:Cube released his album "Live At The Planetarium". In this performance he proposes a subtil encounter of “Concrete” music, Dub and Electronica, skillfully supressing the frontiers between these styles to achieve a musical supernova.
